Titusville FISH FRY-Support of Flag and Memorial Committee

FISH FRY—SATURDAY, APRIL 24TH—IN SUPPORT OF FLAG AND MEMORIAL COMMITTEE OUTREACH EFFORTS

The American Legion, Post #1 and the American Legion Auxiliary will be sponsoring a Fish Fry on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. at their facility located at 1281 North U.S. Highway #1, Titusville, Florida. The purpose of the Fish Fry is to raise funds in support of Titusville’s Flag and Memorial Committee Outreach efforts. The Flag and Memorial Committee supports and maintains the Avenue of Flags (American flags flown along the medians of U.S. Highway #1), sponsors the annual Astronaut Memorial Ceremony along with the Flag Day Ceremony and provides support to the Veteran’s and Memorial Day ceremonies. The committee also recognizes local businesses and individuals for their patriotic efforts through Patriotism Awards and helps provide guidance and information concerning the American flag.

The suggested donation is $5.00 and tickets can be secured at the event.
